Heather is a singer/songwriter that has been singing since the age of 10. She had surprised many a person in her childhood with her mature sound at an early age. At age eleven she was told she had the voice of a seventeen year old. She continued performing through her childhood in various choirs and in musicals. By the time Heather graduated from high school she had become known for her vocal skills and was asked to join a musical group which she declined to continue her music education in college. As a vocal major, Heather studied for 2 years at Southwest Texas State University.
Though she left the music program she continued singing. In 2008 Heather returned full force to music not just as a singer but as a songwriter. She quickly was added to the FEATURED ARTIST list on NK Airplay Radio. This led to her being mentored by and teamed up with Solange Fernandoy (PKA SOUL) as her songwriting partner. Heather and Soul now work together as a singing/songwriting team known as SOULFUL HEAT MUSIC. She is now performing, writing songs for the Soulful Heat catalog, and writing for submission.
